I woke up today with a beautiful memory of my mediterranean honeymoon cruise. How many beautis, but expecially how many delicious!
In the morning my first thought was running to self-service restaurant and having a big breakfast. We began with fruit, moved by a croissant, a milk cup and... come to french toast... WHAT A YUMMY! With a chocolate sauce that was put on, warm honey... wow waht a memory!
So this morning I had a fixation, make a french toast, with any ingredient, the important things was reach the goal.
In the morning we are so asleep, of course, so difficult recipes and laborious task are absolutely to avoid. Result? 3 very fast french toast, close to the real thing and so... EXTRA DELICIOUS!!!
Ingredients
- 3 slices of white soft bread
- 1 egg
- 2 spoonfuls of sugar
- 1 spoonful of cinnamon powder
- Milk
- A knob of butter
- Icing sugar
- Honey
Preparation
- In a bowl break an egg and add the sugar and cinnamon powder.
- Add a little bit of milk, about half a glass and whip vigorously with a fork and mix everything.
- Set a pan on the stove and melt a knob of butter. In the meantime it melts, dunk both slices of white bread into the mixture.
- Once ready, toast in a pan the slices fo bread, into both sides when the cooking is over. Be careful not to burn them. Serve with a little powdered sugar, honey or some other chocolate topping or fruit.
